Mourners Gather For Candlelight Vigil
More than 100 grief stricken friends and family members gathered at the scene of an unprovoked double murder on Friday night, staging a moving candle-light vigil that illuminated the evening sky. Dylan Ellis and Oliver Martin were shot and killed last week while sitting in an SUV at Richmond and Niagara Streets. The pair grew up together, and died together. "Reflection hasn't even set in...it's still surreal," one attendee said. "It probably will never fully heal...it's going to take time." Up to six hundred candles were lit and boquets of flowers lined the street. Police are still trying to track down a suspect and pin down a motive for the double murder.
